New Apprentice – Ben Smith

CMS have recently taken on its first Apprentice, Ben Smith.

Ben is undergoing a 3-year apprenticeship training to become a skilled sheet metal worker.

Ben is work based 4 days a week and attends Gateshead college 1 day a week.

Ben is currently 8 months in and is flying high, long may it continue, we wish him all the best in his training.

Ben wanted to do an apprenticeship as “I thought it would be a very good opportunity but was first inspired by my grandad who owned his own fabrication company and has had a very successful life. In the future I would like to peruse a career in fabrication and welding and hopefully have some great experiences and opportunities.”
